Sampson City Volunteer Fire Department was formed in 2001 to fill a void in between 2 existing Bradford County Volunteer Departments.  This improved the response to the citizens of the unincorporated area of Bradford County know as Sampson City. 
 
SCVFD is a non-profit organization, that receives limited support from Bradford County, we rely primarily on tax deductible donations. SCVFD runs an average of 370 calls a year using 4 primary response vehicles.  E90 is the newest of the vehicles, was manufactured in the early 1980's  Currently SCVFD has a roster of 20 volunteers.
