Apparatus Delivery
Bradford County Emergency Services has taken delivery of a 2005 Wheeled Coach Fire Medic Series rescue unit. The unit was purchased with a matching grant from the State of Florida.
The apparatus features an International 4400
extended cab with walk-through to the patient compartment, a Zico hydraulic lift
for the oxygen cylinder, a Firecom headset system, and a rear camera with LCD
display for the driver.
The unit, which will be used primarily for critical care transport between healthcare facilities, will be stationed at Station 6 located in downtown Starke. It will be operated as "Medic 4".
