Apparatus Delivery
On, July 28, 2006, Bradford County and The Theressa Volunteer Fire Department took delivery of a 2006 International E-One Engine. The pumper will be put in service as Engine 20, replacing Station 2’s 1985 E-One Hurricane pumper.
Engine 20 comes equipped with a 4 door cab, which seats 4 firefighters with airpacks and a driver, 1250 gallon per minute pump, 1000 gallon water tank and 10 gallons of foam. The new truck also comes with an extended front bumper with jump line and suction. A booster line and deck gun have also been mounted on top of the unit.
The warning system includes a Whelen L.E.D. light package, Federal Signal Night Fighter scene lights and a Federal QTB siren.
The unit, which is stationed at the TVFD on S.E. 81st Street, will be primarily used for first response to fires and motor vehicle accidents.
The unit was purchased with assistance from the Department of Homeland Security Fire Act Grant.
